Hello wonderful friends and family!!!!

Lots of Great news to share. Matt and I both were accepted into BYU-I!!!!!! God is Great :) I can't wait to be married and starting my life with Matt at a school that will be so accepting, uplifting, and helpful to us as we pursue our goals. I am so excited! We have been looking at some apartments over in Rexburg, and we have narrowed it down to about three complexes that seem to fit with us. Hopefully there will be more good news to come in the near future. Thank you to all who are there for Matt and I, your love and guidance helps us so much! We love you!

Life

Hello you all!

These past couple of weeks have been crazy. I feel like as we are moving closer to the wedding, Satan is really working on Matt and I. Especially me. Matt and I were called to serve as YSA leaders for our ward, and it really is a huge calling, however so amazing! We love our calling!!!! There is really a lot to do with it since we are basically helping start a program up in the Stake. We go to FHE and Institute each week, and invite others to do so as well.  We also call and meet with inactive kids and their families. We are even helping teach a YSA Sunday school class at church now! What a wonderful way that we get to serve the Lord and our fellow YSA members.

Matt and I are both still working and I am going to school, and we almost always have an appointment during the evening at some point (usually for church). So as you can see, I am obviously feeling a little stressed out.... oh did I mention I am also planning a wedding?

The Lord is wonderful though, and I know by serving others and fulfilling my callings I will be blessed. The Lord knows me and what I need. And what Matt and I need. I have been praying a lot for the opportunity to keep the Sabbath day holy, because I have a tutoring student that I meet on Sundays. I got a call today and the mom said that her grades had gone up and she was doing her homework on her own, and enjoying reading! My heart could have melted right there! Her mom also said that she thinks that she won't be needing tutoring anymore, meaning my Sundays are now free from work. It is hard to say goodbye to her after working with her and her family for a over a year, but I know that it is God's plan. It is just a new chapter to my life and hers.

Five months and thirteen days until the wedding, if I counted right. Lots more to do, but I pray that the process may be enjoyable and exciting. I am so ready to be Mrs. Lundervold, and to come home to my prince every night for the eternities :) We love you all and appreciate your support for us.

Lots of things have been going great for Matt and I!

We recently put in our applications for BYU-I and have been apartment hunting. We are hoping that we will be able to head over there for school next year. We should hear back in about 6 weeks or so... we shall keep you posted! In some wedding news, we registered recently at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Amazon.com. It was quite an experience let me tell ya! Matt and I started at Target, and we both looked at each other and said "are you a little nervous"? We both were! But after Matt got to be in charge of the scanning button, all was well. It is so wonderful to be able to plan what OUR house is going to be like and how WE want to set it up. Just the fact that we are going to be having OUR own place is crazy and awesome! We are both very excited!
I recently just got hired as a nanny for two wonderful boys in Tacoma. The youngest boy has Downs Syndrome and if you know me.... you know how much I care for people with disabilities. I am thankful to have a job with flexible hours and great pay! Now I can help save for next year as well! Thank you to all who support us in this journey! We love you!

Winter wonderland and then some!

Welcome to Washington! The snow/ice/rain/hail/everything has finally started to melt away slowly. Matt was stuck without power for the past two days or so, and he told me that he did not realize how much electronic devices he used in a day until he couldn't use any of them at all! Thankfully, our power has decided to stay on so that has made me happy :) Today I was able to schedule my interview with a family in the Tacoma area, to be their after school nanny. I am praying that it will work out in my favor! Matt just got a Macbook today and he is very content with his buy. He is selling his laptop as well, if anyone is interested! Tomorrow, my Dad and I are going to buy the dress. If you are ever looking for a wedding dress, prom dress, cute dress (modest or not) check out  "A Formal Choice" in downtown Puyallup! That is where we found my beauty.

We hope that you are all being safe in the weather! We love you!

The Date

Hello Again!

We were able to get in contact with the temple scheduler last night and we can't book our time until April 3rd. That just means I (Emily) will be calling as soon as they open on that day. We aren't planning on having a big group with us so it should be easier to get a room, and only run for an hour or so. I can't wait to be married already!

On another note, here in Puyallup it is very snowy! All schools and a lot of businesses and shops have closed for the day. We were able to play in the snow for a while, and go sledding. We hope you are all enjoying our winter wonderland and that you are safe! We love you!

Instead of handing out Save the Dates, we are posting them via many forms of internet for cost. Here it is folks! :) (by the way, I spent a lot of time into this! who knew that paint was so difficult?)

Well hello everyone!

We have so many wonderful upcoming events and we decided that they needed to be in a central place! I recently went dress shopping, and I think I have found the one! It is definitely an experience I have always dreamed about. It was wonderful! Andie, Katie, and her friend Gabby went with me. So much fun! We are working on getting our guest list finalized in the next few days, so that we can begin the process of invitations. We are always looking for ideas that are cheap, and somewhat easy, so feel free to share! We do know that we will be getting married in the Seattle LDS Temple, followed by a ring ceremony and reception in the cultural hall of the 94th LDS Stake Center in Puyallup. Our hope with this blog is to keep people in the loop with what is going on in the world of our wedding. Thank you! We love you!
